Start by taking stock of everything you have now and appreciating it deeply, remember to give more of yourself, whether it be time, advice, love and support to those around you. When you dream, look past that dream to something even better for yourself and even for others. Don't forget to take better care of your body, mind and soul, get enough rest, eat a bit better than you have been, do things that are exciting and fuel your passions. The only person in this life you need to impress is yourself, self love follows through to every aspect of your life. Be Kind, Compassionate and practice empathy - when you learn to appreciate differences in opinion/perspectives you grow even larger and brighter. Forget about making comparisons, you are as unique as your thumbprint and so is the other person, you can only have your version of bliss so learn to be satisfied with that and let go of past traumas and by all means don't even bother with current fears as those are only illusions of perceived harm that your brain projects in order to keep you one step ahead of the game. Forgive yourself during this time, as well as any others who you perceive have wronged you. Life is only happening through your decisions and actions. Stay committed to your goals and believe that everything is always working out for the highest good of all. No excuses - the story you tell yourself about anything is the key. As Mohamed Ali once proclaimed "I hated every minute of training, but I said - Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion." Love yourself more each day by being grateful for your life and your relationships, everyone is operating at their own level awareness and may not necessarily be on yours, give love when in doubt, as the love you receive is in direct proportion to the love you give. - #regrann - #regrann
Serenity…What The Hell Is That?
Serenity is a state of complete peacefulness where the mind is calm and unaffected by the external environment. This higher spiritual echelon, or inner peace, is accompanied by a sense of contentment and absolute bliss. Human beings are distinct from all other life forms on earth due to our intelligence, consciousness and the ability to change our environment. The conscious mind perceives the external world and feels varying emotions based on experiences and perceptions.
These feelings, emotions, and sentiments, in turn, determine our inner equilibrium or “inner self.” Consciousness, which stems from internalization of social values and morals, also plays a major role in directing the inner self. Most of the time, the inner life or equilibrium of the human mind is in a disturbed state. The mind is never really at peace, and chaos reigns supreme due to anger, shame, feelings of guilt, and sadness. The human mind strives to achieve a proper balance or equilibrium. The eternal quest for the ultimate goal—Peaceful Bliss—proceeds in many directions.
Some seek solace in various forms of addiction, others by passionately submerging themselves in work or pleasures. These paths, however, never fully satiate the true desire for peace or tranquility. Serenity, or peace, is only achieved by striving for inner peace first. The most important step in this direction is to recognize the inner child of your mind. The second step is freeing that inner child from all forms of abuse and then loving it unconditionally, as you would a child.
Self-love is the key to Serenity. Self-love does not require us to be directed by our inner child. We should take control as a conscious being and love ourselves, yet not be dictated by it. Some find serenity in nature; for others, serenity can be found in visiting with family and friends. True serenity is achieved by empowering the inner self and allowing it to reflect into the external world.
